Lemonlight by SZVapor
Vendor Description: Creamy cheesecake with a light graham crust, topped with a dash of tart lemon zest.
Given how much I enjoy Cobblestone Cream I was very excited to try the included sample of Lemonlight I received with my most recent 100ml order of Cobblestone Cream (now the v2 2015 recipe iteration, of which I’ll be posting an updated review sometime in the hopefully not-to-distant future).
Review:
Strength: 6mg
PG/VG: 30/70
Smell: Oh yeah! The very first thing that sprang to mind when I took my initial whiff of Lemonlight was lemon pound cake. I <3 lemon pound cake. As it happens, I’m quite a fan of a lot of baked goods that involve lemon. The aforementioned lemon pound cake, lemon slice (typically with poppy seeds), lemon pie, lemon cake and lemon cookies are prime examples. After I finished huffing the bottle and making myself light headed, I set about paying closer attention to what I was smelling. Lemon, obviously, and unmistakably. Not face puckering sour lemon though. What I get in Lemonlight is a reasonably strong, slightly sweet lemon rind kind of lemon. Underneath this, chasing it if you will, are the cheesecake components. Creamy, slightly tart cheese and graham cracker. Smells very much like lemon cheesecake to me.
Taste: This tastes every bit as delicious as it smells! From the draw the only thing I discern is a slight burn in the back of my throat that I attribute to the citrus. As soon as I’m done inhaling I taste the lemon. Per the smell, it’s not sour. A little tart and a little sweet it is smoothened out by creamy cheesecake. The cheesecake has a good dairy sweetened sour cream cheese taste to it. Underneath this is just a touch of graham cracker. Much like the smell, if I just take a quick vape the experience is more like lemon pound cake, but if I concentrate and pick apart the elements I get lemon cheese cake. In a dripper I get a little more cheesecake and a little more graham cracker. This serves to soften the lemon a little without muting any of the lemon flavour. The throat hit is relatively mild in both tank and dripper, with just a bit of a tingle from the citrus.
Conclusion: Marvelous! SZVapor has roared into 2015 with an outstanding juice. If you prefer a little more lemon in your vape, a higher resistance and/or tank setup is the way to go. If you’d rather more of the cheesecake experience then go for a dripper or lower resistance.
